1.
I don’t know if there are any words To say in this moment That will ease your pain I don’t know if you’ll even believe When I say, I see you Cause the world’s been turned upside down Nothing’s quite the same But I need you to know You are not alone, you are not alone Even if it seems that way And I hear your ache, I feel your loss And I’m right there, I’m right there, I see you It’s beyond what any of us had dreamed It all changed so quickly We couldn't see a way through And I know you’ve probably already Been asking the question When will this end? But I need you to know to know You are not alone, you are not alone Even if it feels that way And I hear your ache, I feel your loss And I’m right there, I’m right there, I see you I see you, I see you, I see you And you are not alone You are not alone You are not alone I don't know if there are any words To say in this moment...
2.
It's not the first time We are staring down a barrel Wondering when or how We'll see the light of day It's not the first time We've been brought down to our knees Forced to look in the mirror And recall what we forgot We are made of stars We are forged in the fires of courage And when we fall down We find a way to get up Can we remember we are more than What we've acquired Our worth runs deeper Than the things were told to chase Can we remember that heaven Lives within We must look in the mirror And recall what we forgot
3.
The world is spinning out of control The rich just keep getting richer And the poor are barely getting by And I'm restless with the way it all turns So I'll rise each day and make a vow That I'll love myself through and through That I'll turn to my next-door neighbor Do the same and take care of mother earth The warning signs have been raging It's time to heed if we'll survive The ways in which we've been living Can longer sustain the human race Let us rise each day and make a vow That we'll love ourselves through and through That we'll turn to our next-door neighbor Do the same and take care of mother earth. Ohhhhhh Ohhhhhh Ohhhhhh It's the only way, That we can save everything Everything It's the only way that we can save everything Everything... So rise each day and make a vow To love yourself through and through Then you'll turn to your next-door neighbor Do the same and take care of mother earth.

about

So things haven’t quite been the same in the last 16 months or so. Collectively and individually we have had to do a lot of pivoting in an attempt to stay afloat with the changing times and to be honest, it has been quite exhausting. We’ve all done the best we could with what’s been happening, but we are hanging by a thread wondering if there’s yet another curveball coming. In varying degrees, we all are cradling the dull aches of trauma, uncertainty, and a longing for life to just get better. So I’m offering these three songs, which I envision as a succinct soundtrack to these surreal times we are living in. I hope that as we navigate the unknown, these songs will be somewhere in the background creating space for our grief, our sanity, our longing, our questions, our fears, our losses, our empowerment, and any other feeling/emotion we’re all experiencing.
